Abrasive Applications:
Wedge wire screens in abrasive applications are manufactured from Grade 430 stainless steel. This is a ferritic steel with no nickel
that has a high abrasion resistance and good weldability.
Hard chroming of surfaces available.
Corrosive Applications:
Wedge wire screens that are designed for corrosive applications manufactured from Grade 304 stainless steel. This steel is made
up of 18% chromium and 8% nickel making it durable and long-lasting. Grade 316 stainless steel is available on request for highly
corrosive applications.
The profiles of the longitudinal wires determines the shape and size of the downward opening slot and affects the extent to which
slots remain open.
